JICA Training for African Young Scientist 2023プログラムにより、Samson OjokさんとObura Morishさんが7/19~8/7まで当研究室で研修を受けていました。研修では坂上教授や大学院生を中心に、研究の意見交流会や技術指導が行われました。また、8/2には、鹿児島県農業開発総合センターに訪問し、当該施設の研究者の方々に研究施設の説明をしていただきました。お二人にとって、有意義な研修期間だったのであれば幸いです。また、当研究室の学生たちにとっても、お二人の滞在はとても良い刺激となりました。将来、ともに研究をする機会があると良いですね。

Mr. Samson Ojok and Mr. Obura Morish were trained in our laboratory from July 19th to August 7th under the JICA Training for African Young Scientist 2023 program. During the training, Prof. Sakagami and graduate school students led the exchange of research opinions and technical guidance. Also, on August 2nd, we visited the Kagoshima Prefectural Agricultural Development Center with them, where researchers from that facility explained their research facilities to them. We hope that the training period was meaningful for both of them. Their stay was also very stimulating for the students of our laboratory. We hope that they will have a chance and opportunity to do research together with us in the future.
